The 2024 International Symposium on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Interaction Design (UIID2024) was successfully held on December 7, 2024, in Nanjing, China. Guided by the World Eco-Design Organization (UN Special Consultative Status NGO), the symposium was organized by Southeast University and Jiangsu Province Industrial Design Association. UIID2024 provided a platform for academic and industrial communities in the field of ubiquitous intelligence and interaction design to exchange and collaborate, promoting theoretical research and global development in areas such as digital art and intelligent interaction.

The symposium focused on the theme of "Ubiquitous Intelligence and Interaction Design", covering key topics such as "Intelligent Design Semantics and Narratives", "Intelligent Design Creativity and Evaluation", "Intelligent Design Cognition and Symbols", "Intelligent Design Technology and Craftsmanship", "Intelligent Design Human Factors and Engineering", "Design Intelligence and Interaction", "Intelligent Design Ecology and Sustainability" and "Design Optimization and Ergonomics". The symposium aimed to explore the innovative application of intelligent technologies in design and their impact on user experience, production efficiency, and social development. A total of over 300 submissions were received from renowned universities and research institutions worldwide. After rigorous peer review, 100 papers were accepted for presentation.
