Submission
Author's Notes:
Generative AI tools and technologies, such as ChatGPT, may not be listed as authors of submissions. However, the use of generative AI tools and technologies to create content is permitted, provided that their use is fully disclosed in the work. For instance, authors may include a statement in the acknowledgments section such as:
"ChatGPT was used to generate parts of this work, including text, tables, graphics, code, data, citations, etc."
If you are uncertain about whether the use of a specific tool requires disclosure, err on the side of caution and include a disclosure in the acknowledgments section.
Basic word-processing systems that suggest or insert alternative text, perform spell or grammar checks and corrections, or execute language translation are generally exempt from this disclosure requirement and are typically allowed without explicit acknowledgment. However, as the boundaries between generative AI tools and basic word-processing systems become increasingly blurred, this policy will be updated accordingly.
